UMore Park in Rosemount

I have had such bad luck with my last three Saturdays, I'm hoping August can turn that around! One family we had to reschedule twice due to rain and then another family had a family emergency. August might be the month for reschedules and hopefully nicer weather!

My need to get out and take some pictures happened with a break in the weather, my daughter's favorite place to walk around is the UMore Park in Rosemount. All the pretty flowers and quiet pond makes this place an amazing spot to take pictures.

The Pranke Family - Farmington Photographer

I met the Pranke Family on Sunday, June 12 at the Dakota City Heritage Village in Farmington. I have never been here before so my daughter and I explored it that morning. It started to rain lightly but cleared up in the afternoon. These cousins had a lot of energy and I found it hard to keep up but they sure did have a lot of fun together. They also had their pictures taken with their grandparents, you could definitely feel the love between these families!



The Pye Family - Lakeville Photographer

I got to know the Pye family on June 11 at Hot Sam's in Lakeville, I have to admit this was my first family photography session so I was a little nervous on how it was going to turn out. This relaxed family was so much fun to capture through my lens, it reminded me why I love what I do!

Miss Smiley - Apple Valley Photographer

The sun was high in the sky when I photographed this smiley 9 year old at Cobblestone Lake in Apple Valley on June 4. She was so comfortable in front of the camera she made my job easy!
